The Liverpool Hope International Study Centre is designed for ambitious international students who want to succeed at undergraduate or postgraduate level in the UK. Whether you are looking to develop your academic skills, improve your English, or adjust to studying in a new environment, our programmes will prepare you for success at university and beyond.
You will become part of a welcoming student community at Hope Park, the University’s main teaching campus set in a leafy Liverpool suburb. With dedicated support from our friendly staff, small class sizes, and full access to university facilities from your very first day, you can make the most of campus life while settling into your new home. You will study a range of subject modules in small interactive and supportive classes with a focus on your personal development to help you achieve, succeed and grow.
Through every step of your journey with us, you will be supported by highly qualified teachers. You will adapt to university-style teaching whilst building your abilities to study effectively through 24 hours of class teaching per week and regular personal tutorial sessions.
Your personal tutor will meet with you regularly to ensure you are on track to pass the programme and progress to your chosen degree and any issues you might have inside or outside classes.
You will have access to Liverpool Hope's fully equipped library and online resources, Students’ Union and Student Support Team which will fully immerse you in the on-campus student study experience.
These integrated programmes are designed to give you a seamless transition from your Foundation year to an undergraduate degree programme at Liverpool Hope University.

Our International Year One is equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree. It is designed to significantly improve your academic language skills, including critical thinking and academic writing, whilst allowing you the additional classroom support you need from our qualified teachers.
